<p>D got 185 on PSAT and will be a junior next year. Should we go ahead and study for the PSAT again or is a NMF prob not inherent future and go w SAT prep? Either way, wheres best in Dallas?</p>

<p>185 is a good score. Idk what the cutoff for Texas is, but here in Louisiana, it is approximately 205 ~ 210. I got a 193 in Sophomore year, and with relaxed practice got a 221 this past year as a Junior. The gap between 185 and 193 isn’t too much, so your D can definitely improve in this coming year without a prep course. She just needs to put in a bit of elbow grease on her own with the BB.</p>

<p>Your D can definitely do it then. Don’t spend money on a prep course, just support her and help her through practicing, quizzing her on word lists from Direct Hits, etc etc.</p>
