<p>What progress is good to have made by the end of Christmas break? I’m thinking that if I can finish and crystallize all of mechanics and start E&M I’ll be ok. For those that have self-studied this before, where were you at at around this time? Thanks for the help.</p>
<p>Umm, it is pretty ok for the mech finishing date to slightly extend to the beginning of the next year (but only when i kept the date as the new year did that happen, lol).</p>
<p>Umm, try to ensure that you are thorough with Mech before you venture into e&m (take a week gap between the transition and absorb the information). </p>
<p>According to me, if you are done with Mech by mid-jan, and begin e&m by end jan, you are good to go.</p>
<p>Are you doing other APs or IB? Are you a senior?</p>

<p>I’m in my junior year and am also taking 5 other APs at school. I took Physics B last year and got a 5 on the test, though, so going through C is not too bad. Thanks for the advice. I was thinking along the same line.</p>
