Pattern to admission decsion times?

I’m flying back home from spring break on that day, so I’ll probably find the nearest person w/ a laptop open the second that plane hits the ground. I’ll just be like, “Hey, I’ll pay you $40 if you let me use your computer for a few minutes.”

What if you haven’t gotten… any email at all?

i haven’t gotten anything either

see this discussion: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=305718&page=3</a>
people have been getting emails sent to screen names they rarely use somehow. check whatever possibilities you have.

“Thursday, March 29, 2007 no sooner than 5 p.m. (your local time).”

I’m from California.

I’m checking at 5pm. It told me 6:30 EST (in MI, Local Time) but I bet it’s to try and keep the servers from overloading.

not before 6:30; i’m in joisey.

yeah, looks like they staggered it, at least in the email. question is, will the decisions actually be staggered (as our individual emails would have as believe), or are they just saying it to stop the servers from overloadin (and if so, haven’t they heard of cc or whatever)?

not before 6:00 PM (your local time) Wisconsin

I’m pretty sure they’re staggering it by region/adcom to avoid crashing their servers and creating a wild group of angry applicants

yeah, i mean, imagine how many of there are. we could land them in a world of hurt.

not before 6:00 p.m. (your local time)
…NY

i haven’t gotten any e-mails at all from brown.
come to think of it…was there supposed to be some sort of confirmation that my application was ever even received?!

molly, did you receive a letter with your brown username and passkey?

just kidding. false alarm. found an ANCIENT letter, activated the account.
no word as to when i can expect a decision though…

maybe you missed it? or filled out a wrong email address? you should look into it
