Althoug our kids are very young (5 &6) my wife and I often discuss fi we should help them pay for college if they choose to go and if so how much should we contribute given our need for retirement funding.
A dealbreaker for me would if my kids were to ask us for help with the intention of majoring in something completely ridiculous and worthless like women’s studies or gender studies.
Any other parents been faced with a child asking for help when you knew it was a waste of money?
