<p>So Wash U is looking to be one of my top choices for both going to school and running there, but paying for it is an issue with my family being upper middle class (100k per year) but not enough to pay for it outright. I’m looking for pretty much any way of paying for Wash U since it is pretty much my top choice right now. </p>
<p>My first question is about using military programs to pay for Wash U. I was thinking about using ROTC to help pay but I would like to be in the military working with ship nuclear reactors, I don’t want to be taken out of school or a career for combat. The other choice is the DoD’s SMART program which seems like a good one for me since it would use my major (physics) but i’m not entirely sure how that works. any help would be appreciated.</p>
