Does anyone know how to put money specifically into the discretionary account? If I charge the bottom line on e-pay and add a couple of thousand for the discretionary account, will the extra money automatically go to the discretionary account or should I call USC?

I usually do a transfer directly from my bank account to my daughter’s account. Does your son has a bank account?

Thank you so much for your responses. My bank charges wire fees.

I don’t know if this will help, but my son just goes online to add money to his USC card, and the amount added goes onto the e-pay statement. That balance I pay with a credit card. With that process, you shouldn’t trigger wire fees from your bank.

My D does the same as Fauxnom’s son, and just charges stuff on her USC card. The amount shows up on epay, which I then pay with a credit card. It seems to be the simplest method.

We do the same as FauxNom and Sequoia. It is simple, and we get a few extra credit card points that way.
