thats about it
for some reason mine does not show those certifications. i have seen others transcript and it does show certifications when an area of csu ge is completed or when the whole igetc is completed.

adam, i know you may have said this someplace else, but if you don’t mind, who have you talked to from PCC regarding this situation?

nobody actually, i just receveid this info from my cal counselor this friday. However, i have emailed like 5 people at pcc to look into this matter. they are:

 • Margaret Ramey (the person who i believe is in charge of transcript process)
 • Homa Nelson (evaluator)
 • Dina maria chase (transfer center director)
 • Harry Bloodgoo ( scholars counselor)
 • and my awesome econ professor who is willing to drive to pcc just to talk to my counselor even tho summer has ended.

alright, you nailed all the important folks, good luck, but honestly i cant imagine that you are gonna actually get rescinded over this. i think pcc will just cert you ASAP when they look at the situation.

oh, and if you can find phone numbers for any of those people, i would DEFINITELY call and leave a voicemail explaining the situation. A lot of these counselor/admin folks are sketchy with checking their e-mail.

yea im thinking of doing that. well my counselor told me that my registration is blocked right now but i still can enroll in classes and attend them.

hey itchy, based on your evaluation and understanding of igetc, have i fulfilled all the classes?

i dont think you finished igetc

which requirement have i not met?

i know but i hope you fail

that is what professor oberlander told me

??? what did oberlander tell u?

can’t you just go to PCC and talk to those people you listed personally?

How many days do you have left to reply to CAL?

7 days and im at berkeley right now taking classes. anyway, i already called homa nelson and she was really helpful. sshe didnt know what happened either but yea she already certified my igetc

=D

glad to hear that they helped you really quickly with your problem…

Adam- I’m so glad you got it worked out. I had a similar worry about getting my IGETC certification to Cal by the 15th, my problem was more that I had waited to get my courses evaluated. Luckily, i was able to get the evaluation ‘rushed’ (phone calls are so valuable)… IGETC certification can be confusing, so i highly recommend all CCC students who plan on becoming IGETC certified to have all their completed and planned coursework officially evaluated prior to your final semester. Don’t wait until the end to certify everything, the records department gets slammed with requests late in the semester. Again, im so glad it worked out, and see you at Cal.

hahah thanx for you all support. Yea, homa nelson was great

Good job Adam!

wait, oberlander said you’d fail? ? ?

i had him and he was really nice to me. .
