PCC transfer to UCLA?

Im currently a high school grad and am going to PCC as a fall student in August. My intended major is biochemistry and I want to go to UCLA. How long will I take and is it possible to get out in 2 years?

Hi! I have a friend who transferred from PCC to UCLA. I can’t really tell you how long it will you take you to finish all the pre-reqs and transfer to UCLA. That really depends on your diligence and the amount of classes offered every semester. However, I could give you some tips and how to make the transition easier. You should utilize the assist.org website to find out the transfer requirements (if you haven’t already). And if your main concern is to be out in two years you should really take classes during the summer and maybe even concurrently enroll at other cc’s… in order to take classes during winter session (If Pcc doesn’t offer winter session). That’s what I did. Unfortunately, all the science majors that I know have not transferred in two years, its all taken them at least 3 years. Just because there are many pre-reqs. Hope that helped!
