PDAs

Nope I am not going to B**ch that Palm hasn’t dated their OS for years. ( although I would like to, it wouldn’t do any good)

[The Associated Press: Lesbian kiss at Seattle ballpark stirs up gay-friendly town](http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hOad7MrHB-xGaWYJAIvKTV0eAZugD913STT00)
This is about two women at a Seattle baseball game who were admonished because they were kissing in the stands.
Now I wasn’t there- so I can’t say- but I do know that I have seen way more body fluids swaped in public by hetero couples :stuck_out_tongue: with seemingly no official response.
A parent was complaining that " he would have to explain it to his kids", but why couldn’t he just say " they like each other " and leave it at that?

I expect that in the instance of two women dating, rather than two women who were trying to titillate males, the kisses were probably not in your face.

I rarely ever see public kissing by gay couples, although hand holding & just obvious " couple" body language is common. ( no I do not usually go to the Gay pride parade- but i think I will this year if I can figure out where it is)

If I was going to complain at a baseball game about a fan, it would be more likely the people who leave crap strewn all around them, kids who are overly rambunctious and bump in to older people spilling their lemonade or blocking the way of those who are handicapped. Not to mention men who spread their legs so wide that they are taking up 2/3s of your space- who use both arm rests & cupholders ( oh and howabout those who have to conduct business on the phone- even at a baseball game you could leave the seats)
And please don’t get me started about the “fans” who make racist remarks about the players with Hispanic surnames.

Id rather explain to my kids that two people like each other, than that some people are ignorant and hateful.

There should be many models of the new Mobile Internet Device out this summer based on Intel’s new Atom chip which runs the x86 architecture but with very low power consumption and these should do a nice job at replacing the traditional PDA.

nVidia is teaming up with other chip companies to offer up similar products and the ARM industry is interested in protecting their turf.

I’m looking forward to a bigger MID from Apple this summer using the Atom chip.

I would probably go with the Blackjack II until the iPhone can handle corporate email, although those Blackberries look attractive.

Oh, wait…

Nevermind.

I want a PDA that has a memory slot- I like my Palm but there are now third party software that make the ipod kinda like a pda- and the touch ipod more so.
Touch Ipod doesnt have much memory though & I am happy with Verizon ( even though it is one of our biggest monthly bills- for 4 phones)

I want an air first :)

From the article in the Seattle Times:

^^If this is true, then I see the Mariners’ point. I find excessive PDA (sex with clothes on, face-eating kisses, etc.) rather disgusting, and it does not matter if the couple is gay or heterosexual. I’ve seen both. Some young people do not know how to control their hormones.

And speaking of the other kind of PDAs - I do not like those either!

I didn’t see that update bunsen thanks.
If that was the case then I would agree, especially if they were doing it in the stands and not outside the stadium or in another area.

But what is happening to this team?
I haven’t been since opening day :(

I do not know, I have not been following them much, but it seems that they are a total fiasco this year! They play like a bunch of little kids during a T-ball practice! But their coach had quite a display of public profanity yesterday (I bet ol’ Lou was jealous ;)). I could not get a single word out of his speech because all of it got bleeped out! Ewww…

When lesbians have massive “kiss-ins” they are trying to illustrate to others that they exist and that they are normal. What they accomplish is that most sport fans wish the lesbians did not exist and conclude that the lesbians are not normal. Trying to get attention at ball games by kissing is not normal.

If by “most sports fans” you mean straight men, in my experience they very much wish that lesbians continue to exist. Preferably, performing for their delectation.

It tends to be the sight of gay men kissing that makes straight men be all ewwww, icky.
