PDF of App Part 1 is adding info

<p>So on the Basic Info form, I checked that I am a US Citizen. On the PDF below that, it has an ‘A’ in the alien registration number field. I did not enter that on the form. Any ideas about what is going on? Anyone else having the same problem?</p>

<p>That happened to me, and I went back and there was nothing in the fields… but I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s probably just a system error or something.</p>

<p>The “A” is only for the permanant residents, if you are a citizen, no A-number is needed.</p>

<p>I’m guessing that all alien registration numbers begin with ‘A’, and that the system just automatically put ‘A’ in that field.</p>

if you are a permanent resident, then you have an alien registration code and all of those code’s begin with an “A” like “A999999999”, so to the OP, I wouldn’t worry about it if you’re a citizen.</p>

<p>Is the alien registration code the same number that is on a permanent resident card? Does anyone know?</p>
