<p>Do you think PE grades count? I think I’m going to get a B in my two independent PE classes (beginning tennis and pilates class at local college)… because I was absent for a few days. Do you think it really matters at all? It’s the only mark less than than an A (well, I don’t even know if I’ve gotten a B yet) on my high school transcript… what do you think they’ll see that as? You think I should atatch a note explaining my mark (I was absent because I broke my toe).</p>
<p>That seems odd, that they would penalize you at your school–for PE, no less–for an excused absence. Perhaps you or one of your parents should check with an administrater to be sure that’s correct.
If there’s nothing to be done, attaching a note may be a good idea. It is PE, so they probably would only worry if the grade was really low, like a C or a D, implying that the student wouldn’t participate in things outside his or her comfort zone. A B shouldn’t matter too much.</p>
