<p>Does a PE (combined with a Ph D) mean anything in a large company? Or would you have as much of a chance at advancing as a Clingon would in the Romulan Neutral Zone?</p>
<p>A PE does get noticed if you are in an “engineering” type company but in todays bad economic time, performance rules</p>
