Peanut butter product recall

Just in case anyone is interested in finding out if products they have purchased are impacted by the recent peanut butter recall, I found this site: [Search for Peanut Butter Product Recalls](http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/peanutbutterrecall/index.cfm) You can just plug in the upc number of any product to see if it comes up on the list. I was concerned because my dog’s new favorite biscuit is Trader Joe’s peanut butter dog treats but looks like they are okay.

We are not big peanut butter eaters in our household. I bought 2 jars in the fall that I use for baking only.
This will pass , just like all the other food contaminaion scares we have had in the last couple of years. We can’t blame this one on China or Mexico.
I didn’t realize how many products in the US contain peanut butter until this

Last year, the tomato scare hit closer to home because that is one food I use a lot. The pet food melamine issues a few years ago were an awakening of sorts…I contemplated making my own cat food , but I know I didn’t have the resolve to keep it up

I’m a big peanut butter eater. I did check that Skippy is not on the list. Thanks for posting the link.

Good to see our Lance Toastchee isn’t on there. I figured ours were OK, since I buy 80 packs at a time at Costco and the kids have already eaten half of them!
