What is the pecking order in undergraduate business for jobs? In other words, if the student is theoretically perfect and could get a job anywhere, how would they rank their options. I know a lot of people talk up Investment Banking and Consulting over jobs at Fortune 500 companies or Big Four.

Straight out of Undergrad:
Investment Banking Analyst (very rare)
Consulting
Fortune 500
Big 4

A top MBA:
Investment Banking (Analyst or Associate)

If you’re lucky you can go into the buy side of Wall Street:
Hedge Fund
Private Equity
