How do i choose between a best friends who knows me extremely well but might not write well and an Ivy League undergrad student who writes very well but knows me only as a friend?</p>
<p>Choose the friend that knows you extremely well. Even though the friend I chose to write my rec is a wonderful writer, I would’ve chosen her anyway. She included anecdotes and little facts that I had completely forgotten about, AND she got a college student to proof it for her. All of this without ANY guidance.</p>
<p>Your true friends want you to get in, and they’ll do whatever it takes to get you there.</p>
