<p>Here’s a blog about the recent percentages of Pell Grants (2008) at elite colleges, including Smith. I am proud that Smith really makes a concerted effort to provide a stellar education to those financially disadvantaged–23.6% with Pell Grants, only trailing UCLA, a huge state university (30.7%). It’s the right thing to do and I’m glad Smith is doing it.</p>
