I got a full tuition scholarship from Colorado School of Mines that I have to accept by tomorrow! The problem is that I am visiting on Friday, and they won’t give me a two day extension on accepting it. I’m assuming there would be a financial penalty for accepting it and then deciding not go to Mines, but I have no idea how much it would be? Does anyone know how much I would have to pay if I ended up not attending, not even with Mines specifically, but with your experience with other schools?
No penalty.
The only thing you risk is forfeiting the enrollment deposit if you have already paid one. Otherwise, there’s no penalty.
