<p>Stupefy: A good friend of mine has had basically the same outcome as you and I am so surprised. She was wait listed at all 5 Ivies she applied to, rejected at MIT and got into UVA and Carnegie M. She had a couple of other schools in the mix too that she was wait listed at. Good luck to you and if you are staying on the wait lists, we're rooting for you!</p>

<p>Rejected by first choice (Stanford), waitlisted at Penn which was my other first choice. Waitlisted at MIT. I'm not gonna complain though because I have Dartmouth, WashU, and University Scholarship at UChicago to choose from....Hope they accept more people this year off the waitlist though!!</p>
