If you've been waitlisted like I have, post here. We will compile a list with the person's username and school they were waitlisted at. Copy/paste the list as you go, adding your username and school to the end.

@ mahedonist... Yeah, it was really depressing today. I've been on a nice streak since Yale deferred me SCEA. I figured with those kinds of indications, LL at nice places, University Scholarship @ Chicago, I'd get in SOMEWHERE today. 4 waitlists and a rejection later, I'm just confused. It seems that I was THAT close to getting in at THAT many schools. Sigh...

I find myself in situation analogous to yours. I've been waitlisted by Brown, Cornell, Duke, and Wharton. If I don't get off of any of these wait lists, I'll end up going to UNC Chapel Hill.

Stupefy, sorry about the waitlists. D had her heartbroke again today with rejections from Harvard and Yale and waitlists from Penn, Princeton, Cornell, Brown, and Dartmouth. Vandy's waitlist letter was by far the hardest for her to stomach. It appears as though she'll be going to UVA, Northwestern, or BC Honors. Which would you choose for pre-med? For business, I'd pick Georgetown over Williams -- many more networking opportunities. Let CC followers know what you decide.

^Thanks for your post. i don't understand why some applicants (including me, obviously) can be "almost" good enough at so many schools, yet get into none of them! I'm a bit surprised considering the number of ivies I applied to :(

I am heavily leaning toward georgetown. I'm actually not totally set on business (I'm in at georgetown SFS) but for either business or political science/law, I think DC is a better environment
