Penn Book Center

I know where the Penn Book Store is? But where’s Penn Book Center? I need to pick some of my course books from there lol

It’s called Google–give it a try:

[Penn Book Center | Scholars’ choice since 1962](http://www.pennbookcenter.com/)

(34th St. between Walnut and Sansom)

:D

They even give you a map:

[Store Info | Penn Book Center](http://www.pennbookcenter.com/storeinfo)

:)

Google doesn’t show you where they rob you blind, though…

Well there is one thing we agree on completely, madam!

But the book center is especially bad. That and whatever is currently in the little strip just east of 37th Street on the north side of Walnut. The business changes hands twice a year, charges you blind and goes under once students realize, for example, that they can buy an entire box of cereal for the price of one bowl at this place.

The book center is ridiculous. A couple of my professors had us buy books from there instead of the PBS just to “support small businesses.” A small business that shouldn’t even still be open.

Dudes, buying books at PBC probably put more money in the profs pockets. They must have some “undertable deals.” lol. 3 out of my 4 courses this semester require me to buy books from PBC and they don’t even take PennCash. I pumped up a few hundred bucks in my PennCash account and now struggle to figure out what to do with the dough. :(
