*Penn Class of 2020 Early Decision Discussion*

2 weeks, 5 days, 1 hour, and 37 minutes

This wait is excruciating

haha I’ve started a countdown on my phone… but I can’t decide if it is relieving or contributing to my stress

I’m having second thoughts about applying directly to Wharton; but I would rather get rejected from Wharton than get accepted to CAS and wonder what would happen if I had applied to Wharton. (I’m not putting CAS down, it’s just that Wharton is the reason why I am so enamored with Penn).

Penn website has listed that (Decision) D. Day is Dec 11. And decisions will be posted on Penn Applicant Portal.

Is there a specific time when is the decision coming out?

@shivaya I haven’t seen the official time for this year, but I know that they’ve released decisions at 5:00 PM EST in past years

@amanivy @desie1 ā€œClash of the Interviewers: The Final Battleā€ Coming Soon.

Large Popcorn will be sold at Medium Size Price if you pre-order tickets!

I’ve got my opening day tickets @toffys

While you guys have your countdown to deadline day, I have my own countdown going lol. T-minus 1 hour 20 minutes until my interview. I’m all spiffy and ready to go.

So here’s the plan @jarrett211
You walk in, and if the interviewer offers to shake your hand, you shake theirs, and spit on it. Then you start screaming random racist insults in their face, and top it off by throwing your coffee in their face. You then storm out.

Best of luck, @jarrett211 I’m sure everything will go great!

@TheWaffleMan149 That all sounds manageable, but there is just one problem: the interview is at the interviewer’s house! So I have no coffee to throw. :frowning:

So instead, you turn into the hulk
Ten minutes in, you scream ā€œHULK SMASH!!!ā€ and flip the table

@TheWaffleMan149 Alright, I think that can be arranged.

That would hands down get you a personalized acceptance letter from the dean of admissions

Good luck!!! @jarrett211

I think this was answered somewhere but I can’t find it… So our response will be either accepted, deferred, or denied. If deferred to Regular Decision, can you get waitlisted as well? Or if you were deferred from ED do they just accept or reject?

LET US COMPILE A LIST OF THE BEST INTERVIEW TIPS FOR @jarrett211
I WILL START

  1. SHOW UP DRUNK
  1. To fully convey your appreciation of the classics, wear a toga.
  1. Or better yet, don't wear clothes
