Lol @toffys you lost me with that last link
Well we know Penn looks at transcript and stuff like that
http://www.upenn.edu/computing/da/dw/student/index.html
That login is what will end our anxiety.
Oh wait, is that link showing the timeline for their decisions?
@thewaffleman149 the second link is the database server status. Currently, Undergraduate data is being modified.
Yeah, so it says that they are still evaluating applications?
yep
So we will be able to see the moment that they finish

lmao guys, Penn isn’t need-blind
I wouldn’t read too much into this. First of all it looks very old: SAT subject tests still called ACH, and this comment: “Some of the date fields are not 21st century compliant.” LOL!
Furthermore even if it is still used as a database for compiling stats, that doesn’t mean AOs use all fields in their decisions.
so we’re all numbers great.
By Penn not being need-blind do you mean the class_component section on the chart? @toffys
These links are making my panic go through the roofs
@nodaysoff97 There’s a field regarding Financial Aid
I could really use my decision right about now…
ahh yes i see the financial aid section @toffys
damn i’m scared lol. So, I’m thinking about calling but *67ing them and being like “can you guys see if i intend to pursue financial aid?”
If you think about it they can probs get a rough estimate if you’ll be a heavy burden financially by looking at your parents’ jobs, where you live, maybe your essay, and whether or not you selected financial aid
@pickpocket Oh, so this is all old stuff? FALSE INFO GUYS: I noticed that the SAT essay score field wasn’t there. SATII Korean is missing too. Half of the New AP’s aren’t there either.
I feel like we’re all applying to the same RD schools lol. Also applying to Columbia (HAHAHAHA), Cornell, Dartmouth, WashU, Vanderbilt, BU (Kilachand, not Trustee…the Trustee essay looked like a pain), USC, UCB, and NYU.
@nodaysoff97 Looks like the chart is outdated.
Realized today that I either have to find out the decision at an orchestra rehearsal and possibly burst into tears in front of a bunch of adult strangers or wait until I get home at 9:00…
@rosewood98 I’m going to be working with my friends at the school’s computer lab… It would be tempting to login and see… especially with 50+ high speed computers around me.
Even if that chart is old, they probably at least kind of consider some of the details that might indicate your socioeconomic status. I read an article once about how “needs blind” schools are not often truly needs blind. It’s not fair, but that’s a sad reality to college admissions
