*Penn Class of 2020 Early Decision Discussion*

as long as you are within the minimum score range and gpa, 35 or 36 shouldn’t matter in UPenn’s “holistic” admission process

Still worried that my 1990 is going to kill my app despite my 34…

Highly doubt that @Makooks

Going back a few pages… I’m applying to Penn, Princeton, Brown, Cornell, Tufts, UT Austin, BU, Rutgers, and TCNJ. I will definitely get into the last four. I listed the schools in order of my preference, so I’m crossing my fingers for those top ones… But since I’m in-state for Rutgers and TCNJ, it’s going to be hard justifying going anywhere else since they’ll be so cheap, although neither has architecture. Unless my reaches give me decent money, it’s going to be a really rough decision!

NPC for each school should give you an approximate of what the cost of attendance (provided you have all the correct answers - need parents’ help here).

True but I’ve heard those calculators are unreliable sometimes. I’d rather just wait to see who accepts me

Unreliability is based on input. If inputs are accurate (based off tax filings, etc.), the results are pretty close to being accurate (as I have been told by some who are now in college).

13 days, 6 hours, 11 minutes, 56 seconds

Yeah, I nearly had a heart attack when I realized it was less than 2 weeks. For some reason that put it in real terms.

Holy shit we’re going to know in less than 2 weeks

Oh man

Sorry. Haha

It could be worse; the QB guys have like 3 days.

How many QB guys are on here?

I really need to find something to distract me because if I constantly think about only Penn and the decision until 12/11 Im going to go crazy.

@Makooks Sleep! You might dream of Penn but sleep takes your mind off of everything

I had a dream last night that I got deferred… If I actually get deferred I have to wait all the wayyy until March … I cri

@icrievrytiem

Yep dreamed about penn lol

If/when I don’t get in I don’t want any pity, no “it’s ok” or “you’ll get in somewhere else” or anything. That will make it worse

How many people do get deferred? Like whats the percentage?
