*Penn Class of 2020 Early Decision Discussion*

I think 25%. Much lower than HYP

I took an SAT in one dream and did poorly on it. I could still feel the pain after I woke up.
If you guys can’t tell, the SATs destroyed my life hahah

So basically 25% accepted, 25% deferred and 50% rejected …

That reject percentage made my stomach churn

So 25% deferred 25% accepted and 50% rejected about? That’s so scary I’m freaking out

Better than HYP that defer like 70% and then still waitlist regular

I genuinely hope everyone on this thread gets accepted then we can all celebrate

I’d rather be outright rejected than deferred and rejected

I wonder why the deferral rates are so different hmm

What % of the pool do you guys think is qualified for acceptance? Like I know people that have poor stats and just EDed for the heck of it and are planning on going to schools like Pitt or Penn State or whatever

Honestly if I get accepted idk how I would react … Similarly if I get rejected I don’t know either …

Accepted or rejected, I will lose my sanity

HYP just reject the 100% unqualified. Penn rejects more

@TheWaffleMan149 but roughly what percentage of the applicants are unqualified?
I feel like 25% acceptance rate means 1 out of 4 equally highly-qualified applicants… = I have no chance

My friend applied EA to Princeton and it is so cutthroat.

Min gpa is 3.75 yall

Not sure @SylvRsr

Well that’s good to know though that not everyone is over the top qualified who applied atleast

Bleh just laying in bed even tho its noon haha
Senioritis too strong

Lmao if anyone was wondering i had a dream that i saw a list of who got in penn from my school… there 6 people and my name was the last one… hopefully this is a good sign?? Lol

@tjgirl123 I wonder when I’m gonna start dreaming about acceptance…
