:))
Guys also remember the nature of this site- everyone here is at the end of the spectrum with the greatest concern about admissions so I bet among the group of us on this forum the acceptance rate will be well over 25%
I hope for this thread it’s 100%
Or with the largest data plan. lol JK @TheWaffleMan149
Same I’m over my data plan but I like this thread so much that I keep going over
We under 13 days now
12 days 22 hours and 28 minutes
Does Penn send out an email too if accepted? Or do you just find out through the portal?
i believe they send you an email saying decisions have been posted in your portal and you have to go check the portal to check what your decision is
That is cruel
So cruel
I will be shaking so bad
Do they only mail you a package if you were accepted though?
yes
I will bet that they don’t even send out the emails until 5:00 stating that the decisions are up
HEY here’s a question! There was an optional question for the penn app where you can say you’re gay/lesbian/trans. Does being gay draw even the slightest amount of good attention to an application because penn may want students who represent the lgbt community?
I don’t think you should look at it that way in terms of maximizing your chances of getting in. They just want to know who you are.
@successonsuccess true that makes sense. What are the odds of an admissions reader knowing that info and being like ew gay people? Not likely right (hopefully!) because Penn seems to be pretty liberal
They would never be like “ew gay people”
That would never happen
Yea from what I’ve heard and seen Penn seems to be pretty liberal, so I do not think an applicant’s sexuality would work against them.
theres still two weeks and I’m like shaking uncontrollably already…
