Penn Engineering Question

Hello everyone-I got into Penn SEAS (super happy!) and into Cornell, both for mechanical engineering. So far, I prefer Penn because of certain programs, research opportunities, and facilities that I am interested in, even though I know Cornell has a better known engineering school.

I’m an engineer at heart-I love physics, calculus, robots, engines, ect. For everyone who knows, are Penn Engineering students mostly people whose ultimate goals do not really include engineering (more based on management of technology firms, medical studies, and other things that do not directly involve engineering), people that love it and stick with it, or a fairly even mixture of both (which would be great)?

I’m just trying to get a sense of the culture from someone’s perspective-thank you in advance to anyone who has any input!
