Hey guys,
Throughout my EC’s, it’s fairly clear that I’m passionate about education. However, while I wrote about a teacher that inspired me in one essay, the other makes no reference to my passion for education. It’s just a quirky look into who I am. Will this hurt my chances? Should each essay tie back to the central passion? Also, do interviews come after submitting the app? Thanks!

honesty is the best policy

I really don’t understand how that’s relevant mjx891
Could you elaborate?

And anyone else? Any help is appreciated

I think I read somewhere that they have to contact you with the interview information. I think it can be either before or after your app is submitted.

My son was accepted last year so I now know about the essays and what they are looking for. You did it totally right. One can be about something you are passionae about, but the other should not duplicate the same theme. An essay on you as a person is perfect combined with the other one. No worries at all.

I agree completely with pennforme.
It’s actually good that you did it this way. The whole point is to understand who you are from multiple perspectives. They don’t want to hear about the same thing over and over in different essays.
