Hopefully that was a joke. No offense to Penn but Harvard is friggin richhhhhh

Penn has a $4.77 billion budget. Biggest in the Ivy League.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Pennsylvania

Penn’s $6.3 billion endowment, on the other hand, is about 1/5 the size of Harvard’s.

EH? Now I’m confused. I read the WHOLE POST before I replied ok (didn’t notice the U penn’11 though OOPS)…but my reading comprehension must be horrible…geez they should like put your piece on AP Writing. I don’t understand coz the “you” mentioned in the first sentence seems to float from a person (ok, maybe he got into penn but decided to go to columbia)…then it goes to someone who got into a 7 percent school AND is going to attend there (Is that Penn?)…so now who’s going to bash Penn? The one going to other schools, the one going to Penn, or the one who is going to Penn but also got into Columbia? if U penn is the object, who is the subject?

Stream of consciousness stuff are really head-breaking sometimes

He’s pretty much saying that people put him down for going to UPenn.

Which is complete bs on their part and he shouldn’t let them get to him.

Harvard and Yale are horrible schools. Sorry but they have the crappiest engineering programs in the country. I could care less about their other departments, they shouldn’t be the top two schools in the country due to the fact that their engineering departments are just awful. vomits

^^Princeton is better than Harvard and Yale.

People like that are so annoying… we know that if many of these people were ACCEPTED at these colleges, they would go in a heartbeat. I feel sorry that the OP and many others have to deal with these people.

But imagine what reactions are like for schools that are NOT in the Ivy League!!!

My reply to the most common question I get is either…
“Do I look like I play sports?” or these days “Hopefully the college you go to teaches you how to be original!” :p

lol sristi, we love you.

to the rest of you: SHE (sristi) is penn’11 (engg) and prob loves her school as much as i do – and we dont like hearing ppl say its inferior in any way (common human response, give us a break).

its not about the 6 schools ranked above us, its about the people that get into them, then come on these boards and talk crap. thats dumb. get a life, kids. go be immature and obnoxious somewhere else.

sristi is a she… damn … I would’ve never expected it ( no idea why, there was no rela indicator of gender in the posts, but whatever)…lol

Princeton is the best.

I don’t like Cornell, it has an ugly name.

Princeton

Yale

Harvard

Columbia

UPenn

Brown

Dartmouth

Cornell

Cornell is beautiful! What are you talking about!

Although U of Penn is pretty as well… I like Cornell too!

■■■■■■■ pick Cornell

. . . . and then post about it. :)

sristi, I’m sorry to have to break it to you, but your spelling and grammar really suck.

thanks lol…
if i am supposed to write like I do for AP English in an online forum, then well sth is wrong lol…
i realize that my original post is full of typos

I agree@juxtaposn

(lol)

lol…sristi’s location: University of Pennsylvania

Haha. I love reading the reactions of everyone on this thread. Especially the ones that come from people who didn’t read the entire first post.

maybe yes, i never went to other ivy leagues so I don’t know for sure.

I never understand how anyone could rank Brown above Dartmouth. Dartmouth beats Brown in every possible category imaginable.
