I may have decided not to attend Penn, but I still believe it’s an excellent school. However, it was just not for me.

Cornell it is.

Pommy, I wasn’t talking about the OP, I was talking about the person who said Brown was better than Penn who posted right above my post (shaqdaddy). I’d quote it if I knew how…

I understood perfectly well that the OP was joking, and I thought it was hilarious.

Amen, brotha

And didn’t dulce de leche apply early decision? Sounds like a bit of bitterness, don’t you think?

It’s been blatantly obvious bitterness since December 15. Some people can’t handle the fact that URM legacies are rejected from top colleges.

penn is nothing w/o wharton. puck fenn

Nothing without Wharton lol?

How about Penn’s medical school or its bioengineering or its CIS? idiot.

^
I Concur.
People are way to cocky in the admission process.
Maybe that comes out in their applications, and that’s why they’re rejected.

Meh

I just love how this one sarcastic post turned into an intercollegiate flame war.

people! read the entire post!

Penn is good academically and is competitive, but if I got a scholarship, I would go elsewhere.

i don’t really understand these threads. i don’t see anything wrong with penn, cornell, or brown. i’m also not so sure why we have to compare them in this manner.

LOL i love how some ppl criticize schools like Penn and Cornell. if THESE schools are sucky, then 99.99999% of the other schools in the nation suck. just saying

Penn is not anywhere near Cornell, it’s far more competitive and much better. It’s College is on par with Columbia/Dart/Brown, and Wharton is obviously equal to HYP.

HOWEVER: It’s engineering program does suck. This is well known. Many people choose Cornell Engineering over Penn/Columbia Engineering every year, probably almost all who get into both.

I’m not going to go into it anymore.

Every Ivy has a sucky engineering program except for Cornell. Although Penn’s self-driving car DID do better than Cornell’s in the DARPA challenge… ;)

Why was this revived lawlznumad?

Yo DAWG.
Penn BE THE WURST SKOOL UP IN THIS HO.

YA DAWG. I SWEAR, I’M TRANSFERRING TO PENCIL NEXT YEAR!

1 Whorevard-Attracts *hores

2 Peeton-Attracts people who pee a lot

3 Fale- Attracts future failures- Bush went here

4 Holumbia- Attracts Hoe’s

5 UPenicillin- Attracts abusers of penicillin and probably other drugs

6 Fartmouth- Attracts farters

7 Frown- Attracts hippies that frown a lot

8 Cornyell- Attracts insecure corny people

Some people might find this idiotic and corny, some people might not, but the point of this analogy is to show that each Ivy has it’s own attributes that make it unique from the rest.

@shaheirunderdog,

Idk, You might have to switch #4 to Colombia, attracts abusers of drugs…might be more accurate in a few ways haha =P

lol ■■■■■ bumping ■■■■■ thread

Where are the posts that say Penn is as good as a state school or is only worth it for Wharton? I haven’t seen any.
