I have following questions regarding “Penn state application and honors college”

  1. D is trying to apply before Nov 1st…
    at this point of time, does it matter if the application is Rolling admissions or EA ?

  2. for honors college application, did not see supplemental questions in common app.
    these may be in the portal. Does Penn state use teacher recommendations from common app or do teachers have to send recommendations again on the portal ?

if so, how many teacher recommendations to be sent from portal?

  1. Are scholarships tied to honors college?

  2. since the application submission is so close to Nov 1st, if the portal information is not received and/or completed before then, will that change the admission type from EA to regular?

  3. is there a SRAR for Penn state?

The essay topics are online. They’re serious " college paper" type essays.
One teacher or GC recommendation.
Yes scholarships are tied to Honors college.
I’m afraid I don’t know the answers to your other questions.

  2. Yes there is a 5000$ scholarship
  3. Yes, it should be emailed to you shortly after applying
