Just wondering if any parents used this service or if any students got a gift from here. How fresh are the items? How do they taste? Close to homemade without being homemade? Thanks in advance for your comments.

The cookies are tasty (though very sweet). I haven’t had one of the cakes but, looking at the price, I would guess that they’re something along the lines of grocery store quality. If you are able to spend a little more and are more interested in taste than getting something that looks like a birthday cake, you might order a dessert from the Deli and have a friend of his pick it up.

As a local (and former pastry chef), I have more than once thought I should go into the student birthday cake and care package business. :)
