PEnn state, drexel senior grades

so guys this is my first post pardon me if i do anything wrong, but im awfully curious for my chances for penn state and drexel. i have the feeling im definitley getting in but my senior grades at the moment out of teh 10 week mark we are at the 6 week and my grades for aps are 86 in ap gov nonweighted 80 in ap bio nonweighted and regular physics is a 85. rest of my grades are 90 and above. do collges look at these grades, i know for penn state they didnt even ask for 1st quater grades… so lets say hyptoeically speaking i bomb the rest of the year or keep getting 80s. will penn state even care? but my main college i want to go to is drexel i have a 28 on my act and gpa is like a 92.34 weighted 91.58 nonweighted. im from new york. i mostly want a 20k scholorhsip for drexel because its already 60k tuiton can you belive that! penn state is my second school depending which school is cheaper, penns only 36k tuition i believe i hope to get some scholorsihps there.

This isnt part of my question but my parents latley have been thinking binghamton and i dont wanan go there because its just “gay” in my opinion thers not that many indians i feel, and its too cold., i have ocd so i think the school looks wierd and colors are not that great when compared to the beautiful drexel city and penn state chill campus. let me know what u think about this scenario lol… stony brook is also great but its 15 min from my house… so yeah not going there idk if i should apply there, basically im a frustrated indian kid senior

also parents makign me apply to nyu early decision… i dobut im getting into stern tho. i want to go for buisness/ med

What are your SATs like? Penn State and Drexel both take standardized testing into high consideration.

Also, for Penn State, even if your grades “tank” as you put it, you can get into one of the smaller campuses (not University Park) and then transfer to the main campus after 2 years (it’s called the 2+2 plan, check out the details on their website).

Drexel is way pricier than Penn State, and if money is even the slightest concern, put out. It ranks very badly on the “value for money” basis, and although Penn State is one of the more expensive public schools, it is still far cheaper (nearly half as less with scholarships!)

About Stony Brook, don’t give up on such a well-reputed school simply to escape your parents. I am Indian too, and I know first-hand how over-bearing parents can get, but your education is more important than these trivialities.

Your grades seem very average for NYU, but I cannot comment further without your SATs.

Good luck with your applications, maybe see you in Penn State cause I’m applying there too!

28 on act aprox 1280 or 1900
