Yes. My in state daughter got into UP for fall as PR major/Bellisario; stats 3.9 UW, 4.3 W, 4 APs, a handful of DEās, and all core honors except for math. We applied on 10/8 and heard on 11/18.

I wonder if theyāre just going to wait for a big wave closer to Christmas week given that itās a new process this year. Itās been too quiet.

Iāve seen some posts by people who were rejected or offered 2+2 on another site so good news is that our kids are still in it!
Did anyoneās test button disappear?
This is the first year theyāre doing Direct Admit so entering freshmen starting in Fall 2026 can go straight to Smeal. Prior to this, students were admitted to PSU first, then had to meet GPA requirements after completing prereqs before they can be accepted to the school. I think with Direct Admit, theyāre evaluating the applications more closely and taking longer to process than in previous years.
My daughterās test button finally disappeared tonight! Accepted to UP Eberly, physics major. OOS, 4.24/4.33 UW (her school does not weight grades ~3.9 on a 4.0 scale), 6 APs, 5 years language, TO. Applied 10/30.

Just found out our daughter got into University Park for Fall 2026 for Industrial Engineering!!! Weāre so relieved and excited for her as it was her first choice. She is OOS with 3.8 GPA & 1300 SAT. All honors classes and some AP classes. Currently in AP calculus, AP Physics & AP Lit. Thank you so much for all of the advice from this group especially @MYOS1634 Thank you!!
She did check off the option to do summer and I was actually looking forward to her doing that program if she got in because Iāve heard such amazing things. But she also really wanted to be a camp counselor next summer, so she is over the moon excited that she can be at camp over the summer and start in the fall.

My kid got into Eberly UP Fall start - OOS, 3.58 uw, 1440 SAT, 9 APs(including 5 in senior year).

This wait is killing me! My kid already got into Susquehanna University so at least we know he is going to college. 
He is still waiting for other schools as well. Has anyone heard about potential history majors (or College of Liberal Arts, in general) getting in? He has a 3.76 UW, 3.98 W. 7 APs, 1 Honors. 1260 SAT. Checked summer option. And heās a local so obviously PSU knows the caliber of our high school (which is high).
Iāve seen people getting in for English which is liberal arts but thatās all. I applied as criminology and havenāt gotten anything back yet.
I am with you! This wait is insane. My kidās application was submitted on August 1st. A bit higher UW and W GPA with multiple APs and Dual Enrollment course. In-state, parents alumni. Major is Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies. When is the College of Liberal Arts going to start reviewing applications?

@mdt33s I think College of LA has been reviewing applications - your kidās application doesnāt have a decision just yet. That doesnāt mean anything other than āa decision hasnāt been made yetā. I realize it is frustrating waiting since August 1st, but they donāt promise rolling (like Pitt). They tell you if submitted by Nov. 1st, response by Dec. 24th. The good news is that we are approaching that date, so the unknowns should be ramping up as they are working through the pile!

you donāt get an email. Check the portal. If the TO button disappeared last evening, there should be a decision in his portal.

Hello! My daughterās button disappeared this evening and sheās able to login to lionpath, but doesnāt see anything telling her the decision. Itās says there are no communications. Will the decision post later? Thank you!
