Same. I’m wondering if they’re doing all B.Arch. Students at once?!

Wondered the same (and haven’t heard yet). A colleague suggested that decisions were being released by major but not sure this is right. Fingers crossed for speedy acceptances all around

By the way- just want to throw something out there.

Current students are in finals this week. Guess where final ā€œofficialā€ grades get posted?

Lionpath.

So all of you incessantly checking Lionpath that aren’t seeing anything? You may be causing Lionpath to slow down for students who are getting finals grades posted.

Stop the madness.

I don’t consider it policing, but it is part of my responsibility to ā€œpoliceā€ this page and keep it civil.
I think @lucy_van_pelt was just giving another perspective to consider while you are all refreshing non-stop for a decision that’s not late for another 11 days. We get your anxiety and eagerness, but there comes a point where that anxiety can interfere with the way the system is designed to work.
I am POSITIVE you will feel differently about this when this is behind you and it’s your student that can’t get into Lionpath to see final grades. Applicants should NOT be in lionpath in the first place. It’s a workaround but not one Penn State encourages. Penn State does not tell you to check Lionpath for decisions. They tell you to check the portal.

Giving a secondary perspective showing why it’s not all about only you and your student is not policing. It’s empathy for those students who are in the middle of finals right now. My daughter texted me today complaining that she couldn’t get into Lionpath to see a final grade. So it happens.

Do you think I have a good chance of getting in?
applied for Fall at UP
OOS student
Didn’t submit test scores
4.1 weighted gpa
5 aps

5 year varsity tennis player (my school is middle/highschool)
On the honor roll

Hey! I am new here so this may be a repeat question and I apologize if so. I am a prospective student waiting on a decision from Graphic Design in the College of A&A. Does anyone have any timeline on decisions?

What major did you apply for? Some are much more competitive to gain acceptance to than others. You could also compare your unweighted GPA to last years acceptances. middle 50% range was 3.6 to 3.93. Admission Statistics - Undergraduate Admissions

I applied for Kinesiology
Is that a highly competitive major at psu?

Only the Dec 24 date for EA applications. Have not seen anyone reporting acceptance in Graphic Design on this forum…but this is obviously only a small fraction of all the people that applied

Hello!! I have applied to PSU on 10/8 under ā€œrolling.ā€ After reading some old messages in this thread, some people have said that it will be counted as EA, and will still receive my decision by 12/24. My question is that I applied with SAT scores, but switched to TO recently (like a week ago) and am wondering if my decision will get pushed back to after 12/24 or not. :smiling_face_with_tear:

sorry, no knowledge if Kinesiology is highly competitve or not. I do think they offer that major at Altoona in addition to UP. So if you did not get accepted to UP, I think you’d be offered the 2+2 plan. Like for thousands of others, it’s just a waiting game at this point.

Ok thank you!

Ok. Bottom line we are still waiting. I’ll live. Just calling it a night.

Why are parents in their child’s portal?! Are they also going to college with them? This is the kids time to start to be adults. Let them do it!!

So Penn stare only looks at gpa and Sat/act. Nothing else?! Seriously?! And we are ok choosing a school that doesn’t care about our child except for their grade?

F that

My son changed his to TO a few weeks back, and it was still considered EA. I don’t think it makes a difference if you do it before they review the application. You could call admissions and ask them to confirm you are EA?
