At my kids school, one of the teachers asks often if anyone heard from a college. So there has been some real anxiety over here.

Thatâs very poor judgment on the teacherâs part. Not to mention inappropriate.
Since it is AP Bio in the NE, I have a feeling there will be a lot of yeses today. BU, Tufts, etc announced. There will also be a few sad faces, too.
Looks like youâd fall in the middle 50% of accepted students compared to last yearâs class. So youâre right there. Iâd guess Arch is pretty competitve to get into thoughâŠhavenât seen many Arch acceptances yet to compare to. Are you checking the PSU Decisions thread? Did your HS offer a lot of APs?
Yes, the program is very competitive. And yes, Iâve been checking the decisions thread every day. My high school offers a lot of APs, but I took seminar level courses instead since I am not a great test taker. So, it was still the same rigor without the college credit. My school weighs APs, Seminar, and Honors classes the same. Thank you for the feedback and for the link!

I will say itâs frustrating to wait, ONLY because students are getting decisions with no real rhyme or reason as to why. If it was a solid 12/24-
Totally fine. Itâs a funny way to look at it but this reminds me of Covid times when we all ran out of toilet paper- when there really was no shortage to begin with. Everyone just saw that others were frantic and getting some extra so they became frantic too and all of a suddenTOILET PAPER FIGHTS at grocery stores haha. This system has created toilet paper arguments and fights and a shortage of patience lol. It has created arguments in ppl that truthfully probably wouldnât have much to say if it was just out on a certain and specific day. Itâs like the dang hunger games out here lol! Good luck to all

well lots of edâs are tonight too so are we not getting anything? iâm guessing theyâre trying to make a big batch so theyâre doing a couple days worth of decisions at once
Monday is a big ED night too. I hope we are not left until dec 24. I really donât want Christmas ruined for him.
I think it is weird they want to do a big announcement on a Sunday and Christmas Eve.
But that is their perogative.
I am wondering though if it really is going tk be quiet now.
The other day my daughters essay and app coach suggested my d24 reach out to PSU school because she bas other people apply in our state with lower stats that heard and got into UP. She is applying Psych which you dont even get directly admitted to, but probably still has a lot of applications.
And I donât know if this has anything to do with the delay for us, but her SRAR was massive and confusing.
