Maybe not the best advice….but call admissions office, be emphatic that the deadline is looming. Every now and then you may get a rep that can actually help….if you haven’t been deferred yet, I’d do this. It may have worked for me. Now somebody will tell me I was jamming the system? But I had multiples that were promised decisions on or about the same date and that didn’t heppen…so I called in my “nice voice” and they were more than helpful. I called today, tonight had a decision. Maybe a coincidence. Maybe not.
New here. My son was accepted at UP for DUS and we’re very excited for him. We’re able to sign into his MyPennState portal to see his letter and other things. Plus he received his Congrats packet in the mail today. But I’m confused by references to “LionPath” throughout this thread. What is LionPath and is he supposed to create some sort of account besides/outside of the MyPennState portal? Thanks.
We are still waiting here for smeal decision. This is incredibly difficult and bit depressing as time goes on I’m losing hope.

LionPATH is Penn State’s student information system, which provides access to academic, registration, and financial records. As a part-time master’s degree student, I use LionPath to search and register for classes, pay tuition and other fees, check for grades, and file for graduation, to name a few. Unless your student is committing to matriculate to Penn State, there is no reason to be in LionPath at this point in the admissions process. The admissions portal is separate and was designed to serve that purpose, providing admission specific information to perspective students.
I am going to say i think you have a good chance.
My psych kid just got her acceptamce to up.

Dd got in to main campus for criminology. Her current school doesn’t rank or calculate gpa she’s an ib diploma candidate with a 1320 sat (submitted)
