There has been a LOT of action on the Penn State Reddit page of kids posting about 2+2. Not sure if thatā€™s because they actually heard back today or itā€™s just a coincidence

Nope, not yet! I was just wondering in advance haha, Iā€™m 100% sure that I will be attending PSU but my parents would probably want to see a number first before committing!!!

They are not releasing on a Sunday. They are not working on Sundays, as per the Admissions Office.

Number? Meaning total cost? Please note that most UP kids live in dorms for just one year, and my current UP studentā€™s off campus apartment is very expensive. Well above the cited cost for room and board. Make sure your parents are aware of that additional cost.

We are still waiting on to hear back on our Smeal Application. We did note we wanted UP, Fall '24 but would consider Summer. Curious nowā€¦ if we get an offer that is not UP Fallā€™24 and decide to be re-evaluated for DUS in order to have that campus and start time, would we still be considered EA or are we now in the RD pool at this point?

At this late date, I believe you would be moved to the RD round if you request reconsideration.

When will Smeal decisions come out for UP campus?

They are mostly out. A few EA random stragglers. If you didnā€™t get a deferral on Friday, you will most likely hear by Wednesday. Thatā€™s what we were told.

I didnā€™t see anyone here get admitted to Smeal without the 2+2 at a different campus. We didnā€™t get deferred. Thought it was all supposed to be out by Dec 24
