Good news for my daughter tonight! In for Fall 2025 at UP campus - Kinesiology.
She’s OOS - 1460 SAT, 4.0 UW / 4.73 W - with 8 APs (5s and 4s on the 5 exams she’s completed), 5 DE, and 10 Honors. NMSF with some decent ECs.
So happy for her!

Yeah, when I first went into Lion Path the other day it wasn’t there either. It took a little while longer to show up, but if you get into Lion Path you are admitted to one of the campuses for some semester. Glad it popped up for you! Congrats!

Good sign?

TO link disappears now, then I try to log into lion path website, I can get into it now, and found the acceptance letter

OOS, College of Engineering, major CS, submitted ON August, 21. SAT sent on August 24
Application completed on August 26

We did. Accepted Econ last week.

What type of grades get rejected at branch campuses? How many applying are outright rejected. Does no answer yet mean a student isn’t a definite UP or definite branch, but one the bubble?

Has anyone received the summer session option yet?

I just saw someone posted on Facebook in a Paying for College group that their daughter was just accepted for engineering, but has to start in the summer.

I think it is still early and people will continue to be accepted to UP until 12/24. There will also be some summer and branch campus acceptances, but that doesn’t mean the UP acceptances will stop.

Yes he did. He has 800 on Math (which he is proud of) and I think it helps.

We see a “submit your ssn number”
does anyone else have that? Is it necessary to provide? We are not applying/qualify for any financial aid. Could this be holding up the decision? It is between the “millennium scholar application” and “test optional” on the left side.

D25, OOS, submitted 10/27, accepted tonight to Penn State, Univ Park, Astrophysics & Astronomy. 3.96 UW, 1490 SAT. ECs with Leadership roles, 3 sport Varsity and club athlete, STEM mentorship, NASA internship, jobs, Tri-lingual, etc

We were told that it’s not necessary unless you are applying for financial aid. I have two older children in college and we did not supply the SSN on applications for any of them

I checked at 6:50 PM CST, and TO disappeared, if you check my message post time, at 7:12 PM I got into lion path and I found the acceptance letter because I spent time to look at lion path web site

There was previous message in this thread said, the TO link will disappear around 7:00PM EST, once TO link or button disappears, you will be able to login into lion path:

https://www.lionpath.psu.edu/

Look at communication at right side of land page after you login into, click it and the acceptance letter will show up

Does anyone know if admissions works the beginning of next week or are they done for Fall/Thanksgiving break along with the students?
