Hello I have a 1250 and a 3.7 weighted 3.2 unweighted
I was considering penn state because they have the nittany lion fund and that has full job placement at good bb like goldman became a target.
Nyu cas econ was another option because it is in nyc and i could I work very hard I could transfer to nyu stern or I could go to work in a bb from there. Which do you guys think is better?

Thanks for all responses in advance!!!

With a 1250/2400 I doubt you can get into any NYU.

I think/hope the OP means 1250/1600.

If you are a PA resident and your parents aren’t wealthy, NYU isn’t worth it.

Yea 1850 out of 2400 and both will out of state for me I live in ohio the 1250 was out of 1600 also 28 act and I am in ib diplom. Now which?

Thanks for responses

NYU Economics not worth it. A majority of the teachers speak bad English and are only interested in research. One of my teachers actually curved us down (and I have intense math anxiety, so I got a C when I’m used to B+ to As) - I was otherwise getting a B-.
I am transferring out, and hoping for a better Econ program elsewhere, at least one worth the $$. Pennstate’s pretty good from what I hear.

Definitely Penn State!

You probably wouldn’t get into NYU with those scores and GPA. Penn State would be cheaper, but not necessarily better for what you’re interested in. It’s still not a bad choice though.
