I think she will be fine applying as an education major, especially since she is willing to start in the summer. Yes, it’s important to apply Early Action.

I don’t think you’d have any issue getting in with that major. If you have the opportunity to retake the SAT to improve that score do it, other than that you should be fine. Good luck!
