Penn supplement Questions change from year to year?

Hi all,

I was wondering whether or not the Penn supplement questions change from year to year? I am thinking of planning early and writing a response to this years Penn supplement questions, but I am applying not for 2013 but 2014, so I am not sure if it is too early and not worth it.

Also, if we are applying to the Wharton school do we need to answer another set of questions other than the Penn supplement questions?

Thanks for the help

The essay prompts have been changing each year over the past few years, so it’s probably best to wait until next year’s prompts are released to get too far into your essays. You COULD, however, start to research and list out the unique factors that attract you to Penn and Wharton, and how you would like to take advantage of those if you were to be accepted to Penn. You could also start thinking about what is somewhat unique about you, and how that might add to Penn and its campus life. Those items would probably come into play in some form or another in at least one of the essays.

And no, there are no separate questions for Wharton–you probably just want to work Wharton and its curriculum into any explanation of why you want to attend Penn. There are, however, additional questions for the coordinated dual-degree programs that include Wharton (Management and Technology, Huntsman, etc.).

Thanks for this, I am currently majoring in Accounting and finance at an institution overseas and will- if accepted- continue my accounting and finance at Wharton; however I am not sure if this major has anything to do with Huntsman or a dual degree.

Cheers

No, Accounting and Finance are just straight Wharton concentrations, and do not involve a dual degree program by themselves. You can easily pursue Accounting and Finance as double concentrations within Wharton.

Thanks for this 45 percenter as this is good news.
