Penn VPN

does penn have an easy to access vpn?

vpn for access to what?

there’s the library proxy for access to online resources (just requires your pennkey)

and the seas remote access to the engineering network programs (requires the cets password)

haha well the library proxy should be good enough

the reason was im actually in china right now, but a lot of sites that i use (such as facebook and blogging) are all blocked

There isn’t really one for what you’re desiring. The library proxy is for library resources only (it won’t get you facebook and the like). You can ssh into eniac as an engineer and get web traffic that way but they monitor your usage pretty tightly and you’ll only get a few minutes of traffic. There are a few other places to get remote access, but they’re very specific and you’d probably already know about them :-)

Look up Tor.

Or any other of the hundreds of proxies out there.

freegate. yeah, i’m international from China.
