Pennsylvania colleges guidebook

I’m crossposting this with the College Search forum, since I haven’t gotten any replies. Maybe parents can help with this.

In Maryland, there is a catalog/guidebook of all public, private, 2-, and 4-year schools in the state, and it’s called “College 411, A Student Guide to Higher Education and Financial Aid in Maryland.” I believe it’s published by the state’s higher education commission. I’m looking for something similar for Pennsylvania schools.

Thanks in advance!

I’ve never heard of anything like that, but here are a couple of online resources:

[PACU -ALL PA Colleges and Universities](http://www.pacu.org/campuses/alfalist.html)

[The US50 - A guide to the state of Pennsylvania - Colleges and Continuing Education](http://www.theus50.com/pennsylvania/colleges.php)

Thanks, Booklady. This question was for a friend; I’ll pass these links along to her.

There are a number of books and web sites that list all colleges in PA (and other states). The one resource I’ve found that’s “really different” is Professor Pathfinder’s College & University Reference Map. It’s a US map with the name and location of colleges on it. I don’t think it has “all” PA colleges … but it has 83 of them.

I am originally from PA and went to two different Universities there. NewHope33 is right. they are not all on there. The LAC that I attended is not listed in the first listing but is in the second. I would try the college borad search and modify the seach for the state you want ¶. I think that would get you a more comprehensive list. Good luck in your search. There are alot of great ones to choose from. (A little partial ) :)

The problem with Pennsylvania is that there is a small college on every street corner… :)

^^

momma17777, you must’ve attended Muhlenberg College. Correct?
