Penurious. Typing from library. Help me find match schools. (serious)

Not much time left. Need help. Fast. Parents were cashiers; laid off for winter. Dwindling finances force me to type brusquely. Fragmentary sentences result. Nevermind - it’s a neat effect.

I don’t know you. But I hate you. Terrible.

Haha, what are you guys on about? I’m not ■■■■■■■■… but the the fact that you think I am doesn’t bode too well.

EDIT: This post came after Emp’s.

Let me clear a few things up:
I was typing from a library. My parents were cashiers, and they have been laid off for the winter. I didn’t use a calculator on the SAT Math tests, but it wasn’t because of (Finances). That’s a photo of me from 6th grade; I was hospitalized after a pretty severe asthma attack. I wrote an essay about peeing. I need to find some match schools before Jan. 1st. Please help me. I am not a ■■■■■.

EDIT: This post comes after Emp’s and my own.

? i went with my family dip. not everyone can afford a *ing dining room you stupid little **. next time you talk *, ill rip your **ing face off. you think im playin got? go ahead, try me. cant talk * if every shred of skin is permanently removed from your ****ing skull.

PS: Look up schools with good Physics departments. You don’t need our help for this. Get on AIM.

Thank you Poseur. I appreciate the mature and reasoned response. I will do as you suggest.

wow your really cold and rude… if that isnt even you and your making some BS up you should go to hell… SERIOUSLY

How is his post at all cold or rude? Everything about his post is true, aside from where he implied that he couldn’t afford a calculator (he took it without a calculator [solely because he is an idiot with pride issues](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/595693-help-me-convince-my-friend-not-take-math-iic-without-calculator.html) :)) and the part where he said “only in bed” – he’s decidedly mediocre in bed.

iambored10, thank you for expressing your concern. Please refer to post number four.

hmmm

apply to university of maryland

hmmm

apply to eating food’s pants

You should apply to Carnegie Mellon, as I’m sure they’d take you.

Also, to the doubters, he is not a ■■■■■.

If case western and RPI are your safeties, then I doubt there are many “matches” since the categories are almost entirely about perception. And by that I mean, a school is a “match school” when it feels like it’s a “match”. I don’t really know what that means, but I bet it has a lot to do with perceived prestige and the perceived difficulty of getting in. I’d say that RPI, Case Western, and even Cornell are matches for you because while they’re selective in general, you fit their criteria. CMU is definitely a good choice, as are smaller schools with strong programs like Reed and Harvey Mudd.

You should consider: Boston College, Yale, University of Southern California, Reed College, Pomona College, Harvey Mudd College (Outstanding), University of California at Berkeley, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke, and Cornell. If you’re truly from an economically disadvantaged situation, it will serve as a huge benefit per your personal statement. In addition, I know that OSU has an amazing honors college, but, you should leave the state and attend an Ivy league college.

Thank you. Poseur; I applied to eating food’s pants about three months ago. Others; I appreciate your advice and I will be looking into some of the mentioned colleges. Definitely Harvey Mudd - Arthur Benjamin is so dreamy!

Edit: Carnegie Mellon looks pretty good too. Thanks. And to Excursions; I see what you mean.
