This is not an uncommon situation … I have seen many boil-water advisories in communities with their own water systems. This isn’t a Flint-type situation.

Did you guys even read the article? It is a temporary problem caused by a drop in water pressure. It’s supposed to be resolved by this morning.

It is temporary, but it is still a pain (I would not want to take my chances). Especially for food businesses because they will need to get rid of all ice that was made with contaminated water.

Don’t need to read the article to see that the problem is not Flint-like or Toledo-like. “Boil” means there is a possibility of bacterial contamination. There is nothing boiling can do about chemicals or algae toxins. Such boil advisories happen even in the fancy-pants areas.

It’s been lifted. It was one of those abundance of caution things.
