Is it easier for boys to get in than girls? It says the overall acceptance rate is 37% but 43% for boys and 34% for girls
Are you Church of Christ or anything similar? Religious affiliation is one of their factors in admission marked Very Important. ACT is in top 35 pct and everything else is looking good.

My extra curriculars are not awesome. I was on Academic Decathalon 11 and soon to be 12 grade. I co-founded a club and was VP (10-12). I started a Teen Board for a non profit and was Co-Pres (10-12). I have 400+ service hours. I volunteered at this non-profit twice a week every week (9-12). I had an internship at Luke’s Locker (shoe store) (10-12). I’m in NHS (11-12), English NHS (11-12). I’m worried I dont have enough extra-curriculars to get in. I am a white male from Texas. Please help!
I think listing church activities is helpful, yes.
2 mission trips to china in the summer
3 service project trips over spring break
co-lead a middle school bible study
numerous weekend volunteer activities
all with my church. does that seem involved? @BrownParent
yes, but I suspect the real preference goes for the church they are affiliated. Still it is good.
