Has anyone received merit? The acceptance said by 1/19 but we received the admit packet in the mail and still no merit. It’s too expensive for those of us in the middle who don’t quality for federal aid. I am worried my kid will have to decline with no merit money 
Still waiting to see if merit aid is announced today.

We got an email yesterday that said now not until 1/31
Congratulations again on your admission to Pepperdine! Unfortunately, there have been some technical issues that have delayed the release of merit scholarship notifications for Early Action. You can expect to be notified about any merit scholarships by January 31, 2024. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.
Anyone know when regular decisions are normally announced?
My son received admission as well as merit aid but for a few reasons we are considering deferring for 1 year. Does anyone have experience with that and does it impact merit scholarships?

I was told the university does not allow deferrals, though you can double-check with them if you have a few reasons why you want one. If they don’t make an exception, check their website for “reapplicants.” All you do is fill out a form explaining your circumstances, and they re-use the materials you submitted for the original app. Admission/equivalent financial aid is not guaranteed, but since your son was admitted for this fall, that’s a pretty good sign. (I was accepted for the spring term, couldn’t go, reapplied, and got accepted for the fall yesterday. Still waiting on aid though.) Lmk if you have more questions

Daughter was notified of acceptance into university yesterday and today received a letter of admission to the Regents Scholars Program with Regents Scholarship.
Would you mind sharing her stats? Our daughter is at Pepp now as a Regents scholar and our younger daughter will be applying next year. Curious what the going Regents stats are for ACT/SAT, APs, and GPA. Also heard the scholarship is 20k now and it was 30k for our older daughter. Thanks for any info.
The Regents Scholarship she received is $30,000 per year. I’ll have to get her stats from her.
