Pepperdine for MBA & Business?

Hi, I am a junior at UCLA (History/ Double Major Communications hopeful). I love LA and the area, and I heard Pepperdine is a pretty good school.

How are they for business?

I want to go straight to business school after I graduate.

My top picks right now are (Anderson & Haas & Stanford equally), Many of the UC’s, Univ of Washington, University of Oregon.

Hows Pepperdine?

Don’t go to bschool right after undergrad.

It’s almost impossible to get into Stanford without at least couple years of working experience. It’s gonna be pretty hard to get into Hass and Anderson too, though not as hard as Stanford, for the same reason. In that sense, Pepperdine is as good as you can get if you want to go to b-school right after college.

I’d think that anderson would be the hardest considering I’m a ucla student now

You might be able to get into Oregon or Pepperdine right after graduation–but I agree with the others. You should wait about 3-5 years and then apply–your odds will be significantly better.

P.S. I’m an Anderson school/UCLA alumnus (go bruins!)
