Pepperdine Transfer Question

Hello guys,

I don’t know if you guys read my last post, (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1143882-uc-merced-vs-ucsd.html</a>), but about 2-3 months ago, I was contemplating on whether I should attend UCSD or UC Merced.

I’ve made the decision to go to UC Merced, because of the small undergraduate population and good student to faculty ratio, yet I was hesitant to enroll, due to all the criticisms I received. Obviously, main criticism was UC Merced not being academically prestigious.

Therefore, I’ve made the final decision to transfer to Pepperdine University. I spoke to the admissions office and they told me that with my GPA and leadership experience, I will not have any problem being accepted to their school.

However, I am confused because, they have two schools within Pepperdine University, one being Seaver College, and other being Graziadio School for B&M. I want to major in business or business administration and political science, yet both schools offer the same program… What is the difference between those two schools? Is it possible that I get accepted to Graziadio but NOT Seaver? If I do get accepted to Seaver, is it possible to change your major and be accepted to the Graziadio School?

If you currently attend Pepperdine, or a Pepperdine alumni, please answer my questions. Thank you very much for reading my post, I really appreciate it.
