Why is my roommate so picky over every little fucking thing that bothers him?
Maybe he is just communicating with you. How would you know something you do bothers him if he didn’t tell you?

It is actually an apartment roommate. We all have our separate bedrooms. So, I am shocked that conflict to this extent could even be happening.
You should point out some instances so I get a better idea of what’s going on.
My philosophy was ‘don’t touch my stuff and i don’t touch yours’, and that was semi-effective as they would still eat my groceries or use my dishes to collect water from thawing chicken from the fridge. I know from experience that it’s these kind of small things that tick people off a lot, so talk it out and let’s see if we can come up with some viable solution.
